i made this list for ppl who wanna watch something weird and awesome and cool. hopefully stuff you won't see on many other lists. this is my 3rd time remaking this list, hopefully the mal mods will accept it lmfao

If the anime is saved under a different name in the original list (and the ID matches), the listed title is added as a comment. The anime will keep its place according to the list - even if it will no longer be alphabetically correct according to its main title on MAL. This is to make the job of checking and updating these much easier for me.

*The main stacks do NOT include hentai. This is both for people who want to avoid it, and because including it will significantly limit the stack. Please proceed to the Hentai Edition™ in the list below if you're into that.

Yasuhiro Imagawa is a Japanese anime director and screenwriter. Much of his work evokes nostalgia for 1970s super robot mecha anime. He is best known for his involvement in anime such as Giant Robo (1992), Mobile Fighter G Gundam (1994), Berserk (1997), Tetsujin 28-go (2004) and Mazinger Edition Z: The Impact! (2009).

Anime with various degrees and types of "moe" aesthetics that began after Neon Genesis Evangelion and before Azumanga Daioh. Moe and moe-adjacent aesthetics do exist before this time period, but they are not included in this this because I wanted to specifically focus on the aforementioned time period (maybe I'll make a "proto-moe" stack that includes them).
