Toaru Kagaku no Railgun

Worldbuilding - "the process of constructing a world, originally an imaginary one, sometimes associated with a fictional universe." These kinds of shows are usually set in a fantasy and/or sci-fi world, and excel at establishing & showcasing the rules/history/economy of their fictional universe. This series is recommended to be watched in release order.

List of anime featuring at least one LGBT+ character that aren't BL or GL. I try to only put those that are either confirmed canon (in story or by the author) or so explicitly implied that there's little to none other interpretation.

- (Recent update) Edited the list so that characters who's sexuality is more "up for debate" are now written down as MLM/WLW instead of the mouthful Gay/Bi/Pan (which I'd forget to write in some places anyway)

- All nonbinary people are transgender. If a character is described as nonbinary instead of trans it's just to specify that that's what the anime more heavily points at.

There's a lot I'd love to know about the site (and share with you) but I cannot understand everything on there and the site doesn't seem to have a Wikipedia page which is wild.

Some of maaaany taking place in a city. But these are just some that made me "notice" the city itself more than others etc. The ones that might make you think "damn that's a nice/big city" or something

A list of action anime where the main fighting protagonist is female.

The following will be excluded -

1. Magical girl anime. There are too many of them. Besides there is a dedicated tag for them on MAL so they are easy to find. If an anime despite feeling like magical girl, doesn't have this tag, then I will add them.

2. Gender-bender anime. For example, a lot of Isekai anime where a male is reincarnated in a female body and vice-versa.

3. Anime where the protagonists are mainly female. For example, Lycoris Recoil, Release the Spyce etc. There are too many, so deserves their own list.

4. Anime where all combat is done by controlling something. For example, mecha or vehicular combat anime.

Information
This category refers to anime with certain characteristics:
- Lively as Natural - these series represent a highly realistic, natural world. The story looks as if these events were seriously happening somewhere.
- Lively as Energetic - a lot of things happen in these anime. They rarely appear scenes here where nothing happens.
- Lively as Emanating with Energy, Life

Otherwise:
- The rich personalities of the characters - the personalities of the characters of the series are full of traits.
- Third-plane characters are not puppets - they have a unique personality and their lives. A series about them might well have been created
- The surrounding world is not empty - it is full of life
