Both animes are abouts hunting dogs and bears. Other similar values in both animes include honor and friendship.

Both movies talk about a wild animal that been raised by humans, the hero in Tibet Inu Monogatari is Douji; a dog with golden hair ,and in Daisetsusan no Yuusha Kibaou is Fang; a brown wolf. Both of those animals' human families had been killed by a giant monster. The way both of Douji, Fang, and their friends from the same tribe fought the evil creature is almost alike. beside both movies show how dogs are loyal to their owners.
