Both are very iconic battle shounen with a heavy emphasis on action. Not only do they have likeable characters and cool battles, but also a pretty fast pacing without filler episodes. Also the way the characters fight (special techniques, power ups, etc) is very simmiliar.

Both are shounen, popular, and have fights with powered-up abilities.

oth anime involve a group of friends traveling together and engaging in independent fights, as well as tournament-style fights. They are both great series, especially for martial arts lovers. Both have interesting characters, each with their purpose for fighting, a mysterious group of antagonists, and a lot of fun to watc

The main characters from both series are delinquents. They can see spirits/youkai. After an incident they gain spiritual powers in order face these spirits/youkai. Ushio to Tora was remade. Both series are from the 90's.

Both are shounen, but OPM makes much more fun with the superhero trope as compared to DB Kai. However, if you like one, you will definitely like the other

Both anime have superhuman buff dudes fighting in over the top ways

From similiar themes to transformations, and even time travel, these two classic storylines feel like two different sides of the same coin.

Well, Galo Sengen is kind of a DBZ parody, since it features characters that look like Super Saiyan Vegeta. So, I guess if you like DBZ, you might Galo Sengen too, considering it's just a short music video.

Has one of the most epic fights of all time, Shounen and has power ups etc.

They both have big muscular guys with super powers fighting in totally ridiculous and entertaining ways. They also have a similar style of story telling where the aforementioned muscle guys spend half the episode discussing power levels before beating the crap out of each other.

It also a very long shounen series with lovable characters that power up and when they are angry.they kick ass.If you enjoyed the one you will definitely enjoy the other one!

Both animes have a very happy and cheerful adult character (Goku in Dragon Ball Kai, Sai in Hikaru no Go), that has been doing his stuff for a long time, enjoys it more than anything, is extremely good at it, and still strives to get better and better.

both DBZ and Saint seiya are the best and most popular shounen anime of the 90's If you haven't seen it yet, you can't miss this jewel Both Train the Chi/ki/cosmos (spiritual energy) and the battles are epic, Saint seiya is a little more balanced and emotional/passionate so you'll find it similar to the great Gohan SS2/Cell battles :)

well its a shounen action type anime with awesome, very funny and unique characters it has a good storyline and awesome art and animation .If you liked DBK you might like Fairy Tail

both main characters don't really belong with the group their in. both are shonen, have super-powered fights, have comedy. both fight to protect their justice. their both really enjoyable if you just want to watch somthing good. so if you want a regular shonen with little or no teenage angst, this is the show for you.

First off, both anime have similar art and character designs. Secondly, the characters in both anime often participate in battle tournaments. Also, they partially revolve around a conflict between two siblings. Overall, both anime are quite action-packed and give off a similar vibe. They also have a very successful game franchise built around them.
