Both long-running anime franchises involve superpowered pets. However, Jewelpets can talk and aren't just for fighting. 

Dian from Jewelpet is basically like Mewtwo: Both are psychic mage cats who rebelled against humanity for the sake of their kind before being redeemed by the power of friendship. 

The main character is a mage who usually blows up stuff. 

The human protagonists befriend magical creatures. 

Both have magical "animals" and a catchy transformation to remember. 

These two have much in common: + magic, fantasy, soft comedy + both shows were popular in Japan, so there are a lot of episodes and seasons + the main target public/audience is kids and young girls (kodomo/shoujo) + magical companions (pets or fairies), magical abilities, school training and grades + jokes/gags about ability magic level, some few parodies/references about other series + evil organization with a powerful boss and some funny underlings (clumsy bunglers), black magic + the magical beings have a very characteristic personality, there are four "elemental masters" too + human transformations when they go to the magical world + the way they discover/find the jewels or crystals is also similar + a very rich character with a dedicated and hard worker butler + similar feeling and premise + catchy music and songs There are just some differences: - in Mirumo de Pon the fairies are invisible to everyone but the owners - in Jewelpet there is more friendship and almost no rivalry - the characters design and the way of acting are kinda unlike read more 

It is from the same maker, and has both the Sanrio characters, and it is both cute

they both have little talking animals coming from a fairytale land to have little girl(s) save their world by transforming into something different to collect what was lost in hime chen it would be their twinkles in the stars both are cute childish and heartwarming 

Both shows are about a girl who made a wish to change their character , both protagonists wants to have the courage and they got their wish In Shugo Chara ,the protagonist got Eggs In Jewel Pet, the protagonist got a Jewel After getting their special friend both protagonists were tasked with something important to do. Though they are not my fav shows, i feel that they had a lot in common so if you like either one dun forget to watch the other
