The quality of animation might not be the best but the question is, Could anime be as enjoyable with great VA performance alone? This recommendation is my final answer.

Somewhat similar vibe with the fact that popular VA's are used in acting in both shows that aren't that serious and somewhat feel a bit shitposty at times, EL really embracing that vibe whereas TnES has a bit more sense to it but is mainly just small snippets of stuff.

Two series originating from VA's, MAnG coming from Sora Tokui and EL coming from Takuya Eguchi.
MAnG makes more sense in plot although shorter than EL and EL is a lot more shitposty compared to.
