Dramas full of suspense follow short yet genius girls who are well-versed in medicine and also mystery-solving. Maomao is similar in personality to Dr. Ameku Takao.

I really like both series, to me they are similar in many areas. Hyouka and Ameku Takao no Suiri Karte, both inclued mystery in day-to-day life, and have a genius like mc. I think you can't guess the diffrent endings in either series, i really like that part of both series. A big difrence is the setting, while Hyouka plays in High School, Ameku Takao no Suiri Karte plays in a hospital, thus they solve diffrent cases. To add another point the Mc's characters are diffrent, Ameku Takao is a tsundere-ish livley woman, while Oreki Houtarou a lustless apathetic High School student is.

These anime are very similar in terms of characters. Firstly, we have a FMC which look concernly young for their age and are geniuses in their field. Second, the MMC are both good at fighting, very tall, and dragged along on the FMC's shenanigans (In/Spectre MMC definitely hates being around). Both have the FMC explain the mystery/solve the 'crime' for everyone to understand. However, In/Spectre is more fantasy with more personal drama and higher stakes.

-A lot of medical terms. -Smart female lead -One is historical, other one is modern I just suggested this one because both use a lot of medical/surgical terms which I had no clue about and had a fun time researching on. Hope this is a good watch! ( °^°)~<3

Unique crime scenes (Situation, Death). Both protagonists are intelligent in deduction and reasoning for solving mysteries. Both shows are crafted to be hard to determine the true culprit/cause. Differences: Medical Mysteries vs Killer's Intention.

Both mysteries. Both small female lead who leads the detective work. Guy sidekick that helps with the mysteries.

Considerably-autistic and hyperactive cute tsundere girl decides to constantly trouble the male main character to solve mysteries and do things that most people wouldn't even consider doing. Trust me, you're gonna love these if you like it when the main character is adorably obnoxious.
