New Interest Stack
Interest Stackslist of psychological, strange and experimental anime. Anime that has time travel elements on it. It can be the main theme of the show or just a few episodes as long as time travel happened but wouldn't include those where time travel could be a major spoiler... if you know, you know. The romance as a genre in it's typical sense, is a hit or miss for most of us, and this is understandable. Each of us has different outlook on life, our experience had shaped our personalities by particular ways and the way we comprehend the fragile and gentle feelings of affection within ourselves is something very personal. people tell me I have weird tastes. But I enjoy a good amount of series. I also watch alot that others havent seen, so I wanted to compile some good ones I have enjoyed that many may have not seen. This is a part of a series of stacks that are about artistic tendencies in anime (and that border the fine line between sophisticated and pretentious). This is a stack compiling anime where kids (trying to aim for pre-teens exclusively) suffer or have a bad time in general. This stack is sponsored by APolygons2 YouTube channel. who is without bias, the single best YouTube channel since "xX-fortniteIsC00l-Xx". Shows that take the audience's intelligence seriously, with dark tones and heavy stories. No overblown gorefests or edgy "psychological" shit that's just trying to shock viewers by pretending to be adult. Just trust me and pick one which peaks your interest the most. You won't regret it. A fictional world which feels alive and its circumstances are properly explained. Details about the citizens, the cities, the food, the monsters. Everything has a background and a meaning in its existence. The 'rules' and regulations and even the social status of the world are thoroughly explained. A world where you can immerse yourself in. Series which aired on the Sci-fi/Syfy Channel's Ani-Monday block; Ani-Tuesday entries also included. Ordered alphabetically by their English titles. Well, how should I explain this? All the weirdest things in the weirdest box, what do you expect lol Releases which draw in meaningful ways from the named esoteric Hellenic spiritual tradition in their symbolism, themes, or both (Alchemy, Kabbalah, etc.). Most elements from the practice are fairly perennial in their implementation, and this is something up to interpretation, so I've tried to be strict without relying on explicit references. the plot/situations the protagonists get into can get from trying to understand death in a safe enviroment to being a literal child soldier. it's difficult to describe what these series have in common on a short sentence or description but the vibes are veeeeeery similar. please recommend more series like this if you can :^) |
