The premise of both animes is a salaryman sharing a studio apartment with a lazy otaku girl who leads drastically different lives when outdoors and indoors. The salaryman has no choice but to cook and do chores for the girl, on top of his existing workplace commitments. Modern day Tokyo comedies featuring a powerful female MC (both played by Hinaki Yano) residing with a male MC that knows how to cook and do chores whilst attending to their everyday work. Hensara is a lot more laid back compared to NEET Kunoichi's hyperness and go into more different directions where Hensara is more slice of life whereas NEET Kunoichi is about romance with gruesome action. Characters do vary in terms of archetypes with NEET Kunoichi also having wild personalities in them whereas Hensara is more tame but the premise of both are fairly similar in what they do along with the slight traditional Japanese-like flair  read more
