Both anime have a world that is on the brink of destruction and a normal girl from earth meets a prince/king from that other world.

Both are about young girls sought by beings from other dimension, as they (the girls) are belived to have the power to save the other world. Both are also protected by powerfull being from the same dimension that tries to capture the main heroines.

Slice of life anime with supernatural elements and similar atmosphere. Light colors and MCs gazing at the sky a lot, but the MC girl doesn't see the same sky as others - only she sees something mysterious in the sky or in Sola's case can't look at the sky at all.

Both shows are action shows made by KyoAni, which gives them a similar atmosphere. A lot of the visual effects used in Kyoukai no Kanata were developed in Munto. The plot revolves around a human girl with powers and her encounter with a demonic boy.

Both have heavenly being who are fighting amongst each other to attain some source of power.

Similar plot - one girl is chosen to help in rescuing world in some way. Both anime: shoujo, fantasy, a bit romance.

The main girls are very similar in their personalities. They both meet someone who has to do with "magic" and are given responsibilities that have to do with that "magic." Both girls have really good friends who they want to protect in some way.

Well the similarities are the floating continents in the skies in both series. In Romeo x Juliet it is the power of the tree Escalus which is nourishing the land and holding it in the floating state while in Munto it is the power of Akuto. Both worlds are about to be destroyed due to lack of power to sustain them.

The story plot issimilar in that the female protagonist is the key to saving the world. The genre is mainly fantasy, although there is humour and some romance in it.

Main characters of both anime are pulled into another, somwhat mirror universe, where whey become instrumental to save it.

it is somewhat similar because the characters kinda look alike, and at the beginning, it is kinda the same of how Munto asks Yumemi to come with him.

The characters of Umi Monogatari are quite similiar to the characters of Sora wo Miageru Shoujo no Hitomi ni Utsuru Sekai... !

Involves fantastic battles with a great storyline, while still keeping nice and short.
