just gay anime, non-gay anime with gay characters, and gay-adjacent fruity stuff. quick thoughts on how gay they are, amount of boys kissing, and if BL anime, how toxic/problematic it is.

will not include any Nakamura BL anime because they're all problematic, repetitive, low-hanging fruit and the definition of homophobic and gay at the same time.

Possible side effects of these anime:

- Butterflies in your stomach
- Excessive squealing and flailing
- Melting into a puddle on the floor
- Yelling “SO CUTE!”
- Rapid kicking of feet
- Lots of happy tears

A couple of animes that I picked out for the anime viewers who appreciate when love in anime doesn't stress you out or try to sell you the isekai harem dream! There's a lot of series that I haven't checked out but out of the ones that I've watched, these ones have a special place in my heart <3

There might be slight spoilers for what happens in the stories in my description, although I tried not to give too much away!

The lower on the list, the less romance the anime might showcase or I just didn't give a high of a score compared to the ones at the top.
