-Both features Ninjas in modern society living largely unnoticed by the majority of people despite being responsible for big world changing events. -Ninja organisations work in the shadows, also there are some sci-fi elements in both. -There are a lot of deaths in both the shows. No one is safe, not even the protagonists.

- Action Packed supported with 3D Animation that blends well with the artstyle - Both MC travel from Japan [or similar East] to live in the West, Possibly New York in our Real World - Charater Design is not your everyday anime, perfect combination from Realistic and 3D , very pleasing to watch

Stories revolve around an adult male father who is trying to find out the mystery behind their family's deaths while trying to enact revenge. They also have a good bit of sci-fi aspects in both stories.

Both series focus on a skilled warrior haunted by their past on the bloody path of revenge. The brutal combat and graphic violence don't let up in either story, and both blend ancient fighting styles with modern/futuristic technology. If you like watching a man fight like a demon, then you'll appreciate Ninja Kamui and Afro Samurai.

Ninja Kamui and The Eminence in Shadow share similarities in their themes of clandestine operations and strategic maneuvering within their respective worlds. Both series feature protagonists who navigate through dangerous environments filled with secrets and adversaries. However, Ninja Kamui focuses on historical ninja warfare and cultural dynamics, showcasing stealthy tactics and traditional Japanese settings. In contrast, The Eminence in Shadow leans towards a fantasy realm where the protagonist manipulates events from behind the scenes, employing a harem of skilled individuals to achieve his goals within a magical context.

Revenge, revenge, revenge. Both revolve around the simple concept of vengeance and avenging loved ones. Not much else to say. Whilst Ninja Kamui has an overarching storyline that centres around avenging a loved one through fighting & un-adulterated violence; Jigoku Shoujo (Hell Girl) is an anthology series with several episodic stories that explores retribution against those who have wronged them and their loved ones and rely on Enma to deliver divine/hellish intervention via a hellscape, albeit, at a cost.
