Wholesome isn't a gerne it's a feeling that one gets by watching a certain anime and I see you cherish that feeling. I have arranged some of the best wholesome or slice of life anime that I've seen to calm your stress.   This is a part of a series of stacks that are about artistic tendencies in anime (and that border the fine line between sophisticated and pretentious).   Only TV shows included since you can count almost all movies here.   Animes with focus on father-son relationship and older brother-younger brother relationship   Anime for a common audience that includes representation of marginalized communities without being narrowly focused queer or quuerbaiting content. The purpose of the list is to try and neutrally compile a list of shows with a diverse cast that isn't subject to the heavy fascination with ships and other wishful thinking. Therefore, you will not see any "heavily hinted" and other typical speculation for such stocks here.   Some lesser known anime that I really like and think more people should watch! Includes both shows and movies.   iyashikei, healing, slice of life, and family troops here!  Series that fall under the found family trope, with a parent figure and a child or children (not necessarily blood-related) that have a familial bond.   fucking sad or depressed anime   animes for when you want to feel better, Or just when want something happy.   Some fun goofy shows that always put a smile on my face when I need one!   This stack is for shoujo, josei or any other female-targeted show with a male protagonist. In case this stack is of interest to any of the guys, I tried to select shows with a non-objectified image of the guys first. But anyway, this stack is meant for any audience, so I didn't rule out fanservice shows or BL. Also, some shows, especially idols, usually have a formal female protagonist, but since most of the focus is on the male characters anyway, I took the liberty of listing some of them too.
