I think I got a good amount of anime here. So, I'm closing suggestions for the stack unless the anime is from the Summer 2023 season or newer. If you have an anime that fits that, send me a message and I'll check it out.

Classic 20th-century series and films that most old-school otaku have heard of and many older fans will cite as the reason they became a life-long weeb in the first place. Some have gotten sequels or modern reboots, while others have been relegated to the past and stand alone as fondly-remembered products of their time. If you want to take a journey through anime history, these shows are the place to start!

Comedies also count.

Honorable mentions: I chose not to include anime that are unlikely to get picked up due to their age or because they were never really popular outside of Japan, nevertheless I want to mention them here because they were still very important for the anime industry:
Astro Boy (1963), Gigantor (1963), Speed Racer (1967), Sazae-san (1969), Lupin III (1971), Doraemon (1973), Mobile Suit Gundam (1979), Urusei Yatsura (1981).

I also wanted to add Boku no Pico to this list but MAL didn't let me.

Rudeus greyrat is a mastermind... a leader from young age we can whats he is thinking the dude is smart.

this list currently on the work... some are from my memory so Im ordering my ideas some of it is because the anime let us know the thinking process or we can see the cleverness of the character.

Naofumi is a strategist and smart dude but was also naive.

A compilation of anime that began airing during the month of April.

The Month starts off the Spring Season, and as such it holds a massive catalogue of hugely popular series including Attack On Titan, Demon Slayer, My Hero Academia, Steins;Gate, Gintama, YuGiOh and Mobile Suit Gundam. The month also features the current highest rated series on MAL, Fullmetal Alchemist: Brotherhood.


This month was honestly so bonkers there were multiple huge titles that I couldn't even fit in this stack. This includes ongoing titles like Crayon-Shin Chan, the current run of Doraemon and the original run of Pokémon. there were also tons of legacy titles that began in April like CardCapter Sakura, City Hunter, Speed Racer, Golden Bat... I mean damn even for the starting month of a new season the amount of hugely influential works is just insane when you look at it all.

Criteria:
1. The anime is based on a manga that ran in Weekly Shonen Jump.
2. The protagonist (presumed male) is voiced by a female VA at least most of the time -- doesn't qualify if the character is usually voiced by a man but voiced by a woman when shown as a child in flashbacks.
3. The rare series with female protagonists (i.e. Cat's Eye, Dr. Slump, Stone Ocean) are excluded. Girls voiced by girls aren't rare. We're interested in dudes voiced by ladies right now!
4. If the character is voiced by the same VA across multiple sequels, only the first entry is included. On the other hand, if the character is voiced by different female VAs in different entries, those are each included.
