Kikansha no Mahou wa Tokubetsu desu

both Mc have the ability to distort magic and cancel others magic attack. 

Both MCs are given the ability to go back in time and stop disaster from befalling themselves and the ones that they care about. In fashion with that ideal both MCs are able to do things differently this time around getting stronger and setting up events to play out differently than before.  

Ragna Crimson has a similar premise- future self gets transferred into the past. However, Ragna Crimson is FAR better for the enjoyability. The characters are more quirky and there is more depth to the story. If you enjoyed this anime at all, please give Ragna Crimson a try. Its a hidden gem.
