Here's a premise you don't see every day: a middle-aged man and his 20-year-old daughter have been stuck in grief and isolation for ten years after losing the wife and mother in their family. When they've resigned themselves to their lonely routines, a 10-year-old girl suddenly shows up—it turns out she's the mother's reincarnation! She remembers everything about her past life and has returned to their lives, although things aren't as simple as they seem. She has her new parents and goes to elementary school, ... so the family has to navigate this weird (and kind of bittersweet) setup.

First Impressions:
Okay, I'll be honest: the plot is unique, but it can be a bit weird if you think about it too hard. So, I try not to overthink it. The story is an emotional rollercoaster that doesn't rely on action or over-the-top comedy to hold your attention. Instead, it dives deep into the feelings of grief, healing, and the complexities of second chances. The characters are incredibly well-written, and the show shows their emotions and struggles in a realistic, heart-tugging way. You can tell there was real effort put into making them feel genuine, which is refreshing.

Where the Story Could Go:
The series opens up many possibilities, and I'm curious about its direction. Will the family eventually part ways after a time of healing and growth, accepting their new paths in life? Or will they find some miraculous way to remain a family forever despite the reincarnation complications? Either route could be interesting, and that uncertainty is whkeepsooked.

Why Watch:
If you're into anime that digs into emotional stories with a supernatural twist and don'doesn'td explosions or ecchi scenes to stay interested, this might be a good bet for the season. It's more of a mature slice-of-life series that focuses on themes like family, love, and healing, so if you appreciate anime that makes you feel something (other than just hyped up for a battle scene), this is worth checking outIt's notbe for everyone, but if you're looking for something different and reflective, "Tsuma, Shougakusei ni Naru" could be the season's gem.

Part 1

My first impressions of Tsuma, Shougakusei ni Naru is that this anime will offer a story of reflection, forgiveness, criticism of family and couple interaction that will draw the attention of certain audiences since its dramatic scenes are light, the theme of the protagonist who revives is not another isekai is a great breath of fresh air and has a fluid and simple animation

I also see that like other animes they put fantastic or divine elements will not be exposed where that element comes from, who caused it and that the protagonist has a guardian, supervisor or a divine pet, which seems fine to ... me with the plot I hope this does not change

The weakest point of the animation is the character design not that they are simple but the designs can be found in any other series today at least the personality and charisma of the protagonist help you forget this

it seems that the success with the public will all depend on the objectives and personal growth of the characters due to the events shown in the plot

It’s starts off pretty interesting as this is not a format I’ve seen in the reincarnation genre, but that’s where it ends for me in episode 3. A little spoiler is nobody moves on and the wife instead of pushing them to move forward after a decade just keeps them standing in place. I was disappointed as the premise led to many other options that were possible but instead let’s all just sit and do nothing to progress the characters. The art style is basic but i thought the story would carry it. The characters don’t make logical sense for the time frame. I feel ... like they intentionally frustrate you as the audience with the poor decision making, and try to force you to think illogically about how much time has passed, and if what they are doing is right. In a season this packed easily bottom tier anime, with interesting premise and poor execution.
