For example, Shonen Jump in Bakuman or Honda motorcycle in Super Cub. You can also find a guide to real Japanese beer at Takunomi or sweets at Dagashi Kashi. In other words, if you are interested in anime about real Japanese things, then this stack is for you.   Can you spot the Eva reference?   list of anime about making anime, manga, video games or any artistic multimedia content.   Anime that takes place in Akiba and some in Shibuya   list of anime girls who are otakus that enjoy manga, anime, novels and video games.   Derived from AniFem's seasonal recommendations and top picks for 2023   This stack is for modern or relatively modern anime that are done in a nostalgic-classic style. I mean, old character designs and aesthetics, themes, tropes or formula, direct quotes homage for old animes, etc. As an option, new sequels (spin-offs) to old shows or their complete reboots for a modern audience. Or if their first adaptation at all can come true just in our times (Or if they were adapted at all for the first time only in our time).   Whether identical, fraternal, alike or different. Whether main characters, side characters, or only in one episode, all these shows have twins.  These are inspirational series that passionately go in-depth into specific industries or interests, and have educational value.   This is a compilation of the hottest trash anime of Winter, Spring, Summer, and Fall 2023, as proclaimed by the Mother's Basement YouTube channel. Update:   This stack is dedicated to new or simply other works of famous authors that do not fall under spin-offs, alternative timelines or stealth sequels. I will indicate the author and what they are famous for for each included anime, I hope this will help you expand your knowledge about the works of your favorite or interesting authors. I also tried not to include works for which famous authors simply wrote the script for someone else's idea, but if you want, I will include that in the future.   Why don't we go over all the best new animes that you may have missed from 2023. As usual I tried to get a little bit of everything in terms of genre.  In continuation of my stack of anime adaptations of visual novels https://myanimelist.net/stacks/9471 , I want to present you with a stack of anime that in one way or another relate to either the eroge industry, or the fandom or meta culture associated with it. For example, shows where characters develop visual novels, anime that parody the clichés and archetypes of visual novels, or series where characters enter the world of visual novels, making the most of the meta-narrative of this type of media. In the latter, of course, I tried to include only real meta shows, avoiding otome and eroge isekai where this setting is just wish fulfillment without any meta.   The anime listed on this list had lower popularity before its ongoing broadcast.
