New Interest Stack
Interest StacksSurprisingly good series from an oversaturated genre. For people who are interested in isekai but are tired of generic, cliché, trope-filled stories. Explicitly Cannon Couples and Hard Subtext Shows. Subtext shows listed here have substantial content and not just a little bit of teasing here and there. Subtext can also be an unspoken focal point of the series. These are shows I can actually recommend and like enough to suggest checking out. Shousetsuka ni Narou, “Let’s become a novelist!”, is Japan's novel publishing website where anyone can publish and read novels free of charge. These animes are the anime of Shousetsuka ni Narou origin. This is a curated list of anime related to MMORPG, Dating sims and not just limited to isekai. although is mostly comprised of isekai I have included some others stories that are very related to dating sims that dont have any stereotypical trope of dying or being summoned just a slice of life plain everyday going into school and meeting new people and doing day to day errands. Anime that focus on a character marked as the villainess in a Japanese Dating Simulator game, or a plot that follows a similar format in which the character is to be accused by the prince of some crime and then being executed, exiled, or simply dumped. In this kind of story, the villainess is made to reform, either through outside intervention, previewing a bad future, or someone else becoming the villainess herself. The subgenere has gained massive influence in the manga world on mixing Shoujou/Josei themes with Shounen/Seinen themes, meaning that there's often something for everyone whether it's comedy, intrigue, action, or romance. Anime with healthy, non-fetishized LGBTQ+ representation, hand-curated by myself, who openly identifies as a lesbian. Mostly comprised of yuri, as that's what I've mainly watched, but there is some yaoi in here as well. Spoilers included to comment on whether couples are canonical by the end of the anime or not so users can decide whether or not they'd like to be queerbaited. As we know isekai is not one of the genres with the best reputation within anime, but among so much crap we can find some that are worth checking out. Animes shoujosei (and some seinen/shounen) of romance (not all), with royalty/historical/isekai themes Most of the anime, primarily shojo, feature the villainess trope. Set in European-type, high class settings. the anime equivalents to rofan manhwa aka watch these if you're obsessed with rofan A list with titles that I think that will be worth it and therefore that won't have a lot of bad estereotypes/toxic relationships This stack is a continuation from: Comedic All Female Cast/CGDCT Shows (#1). The yuri anime genre unfortunately has a reputation for creating relationships between female characters that are incredibly ambiguous. This is a list of anime in which the romantic/sexual relationship between the two girls is very clear (and not one-sided). The girls in question should be major characters and their relationship should be one of if not the biggest driving point(s) of the show. No hentai titles, as adding even one would get the whole list marked nsfw. Some representation on this list is better than others, and I have provided an opinion under each title. |
