Both anime deal with the paranormal and magic. There are mysterious societies in both shows that seem to act the same. In addition, the main protagonist in both shows are surrounded by a plethora of girls that seem to have an affinity for him.

+Both have girls saving boys. +Both have pretty girls. +Both have same felling like [they in somebody's game]. +Both boys are not strong but want to save their friends. +Both the main boys family is part of something supernatural or science friction.

Both shows depict 'the end of the world' if something is not done and a tool can be used to create the 'perfect' world. Noein focuses more on dragon knights trying to protect their timeline called La'cryma from Shangri-la's invasion. The knights require an 'object' called 'Dragon Torque'. As they accidentally stumble into the present, they realise that this timeline is very similar to theirs. One of the knights chose to protect her while others insists that the dragon torque is just an illusion to them. As time goes by, they let the Dragon Torque choose for herself, to create a world that is perfect for  read more

The 3 main characters of Asura Cryin' are similar and gives-off the same vibes as the 3 main characters of White Album 2. They seems to have the same face but not stature.

Ghost girl aka childhood friend and drama?

Both involve the whole "fate of the world" drama, and have the chosen one to pilot a machine. Also has that one character who puts himself/herself before others

The main character is dragged into a fight that they formerly had no knowledge. In both cases, these fights involve using robots that were created by and ancient super advanced civilization, and they are the only people capable of using these specific robots.

Although the genres are different, it follows a girl who had an accident, prior to the story. As a result, they have taken the role as a ghost, gallivanting around the main male character around the school or anywhere. However, unlike ghost who are hostile or terrorizing people, the "Ghost Girl" are seemingly have emotions, shy, beautiful, and somewhat jealous when other girls clinging on the male character. You might find some dark/action plot twist around the story. Dusk Maiden is mostly about detective showing some mystery and is somewhat a dark story. Asura Cryin is an action mecha, where a girl has a power to  read more

Although the genres are different, the similarity is that they used mecha as their fighting combatant. Though the unique aspect of using the mecha, is mostly friendship, which means they understand several conflicts in their view and that they want to trust each other to take down their opponents. Gargantia follows a soldier with an AI mecha where they are caught up in the war but escapes in a strange planet. The AI mech has some "human characteristics" and consider a friend to the main character. Asura Cryin follows a high school boy, who's childhood friend is a ghost and worked together to take down opponents  read more

Both involve cool mecha action with cute girls and faction wars, male hero surrounded by school girls in "undercover" style. In case you love FMP take a look at Asura Cryin.

In both main character has an older brother, who is involved in the mystery of the plot, whose whereabouts are unknown for some time and with whom the main character is sometimes compared. Also, in both the names of those older brothers sound alike.

Both are school related and they happen to have mecha type elements combined with the fantastical. The coloring is similar as well as the characters. There is the same emotional pull to both series.

Both Anime have a form of Mecha in them. Not to mention, they have interesting power sources for the Mecha... Tony's suit is powered by the arc, and the Mecha in the other Anime are powered by... shan't spoil it. :) But the series is based around a secret as well that I can't give away, and it keeps you on your seet.

If you liked the mech in Asura Cryin, then you will like Break Blade. On top of this there is a storyline that is complex and fun to delve in as you root for various characters.

The world ended three years prior to the series' main timeline. There are a lot of dissimilarities between these two shows, but this particular plot point is of note, and important in both animes.

Both deal with mecha and magic. Both also have stories that are rather on the dark side. I liked the twists and turns within the series.

Both Series has a Strange Girl that Control's the Robot while Asura Cryin has a Ghost Girl and Demon Bane has a Magic Girl which transform into a Book. They Quite really Similar, A Girl which is the Core of the Robot while the Main Guy give's the Command.

Well lets say both of them are really interesting to watch. While Asura Cryin is more like a Mecha/Robot Stuff, where dragonaut is about Dragons. Well lets say they are kinda the same because Both of the Main Girls in Both Anime's are able to transform into a Robot(Asura Cryin) and Dragon(Dragonaut). The both Main male character's are the one who's piloting the Robot(Asura Cryin) and Dragon(Dragonaut). There is also some Romance, but Asura Cryin has less Romance than Dragonaut.

alike plot Kanade (Asura Cryin') is similiar to Yuri (Campione) and Erica (Campione) is similair to Misao (Asura). Same with main heroes. Also includes magic

a world that full with magic e intrigue and spiritual thing,in order to defeat their enemy the main character must make a pact with ghost that way is similar with shikabane series that the main character must a make pact with corpse. In OP&ED the song is also song by the same actress (Angela)

Boy meets girl. Boy gets giant robot. Girl and robot power tied together. However it kinda of diverts from there but a similar concept.
report Recommended by alundra600
The music and soundtracks are nearly identical, which is no surprise since both series' OPs and EDs are songs by Angela. Shikabane Hime deals with corpses and dying, where Asura Cryin' has a "ghost" as a main character.

Though Sora no Otoshimono hasn't been aired yet, its preview reminded me greatly of Asura Cryin'. In both animes there is a schoolboy protagonist surrounded by female characters posessing some special abilities. The male protagonist becomes involved in some adventures with unnatural flavour. In the end, everything depends on him, I guess.
