Main character goes through great trials and tribulations (and maybe a training montage or two) to get to the top. Starts out weak or with little to no power or skill, and becomes stronger/ more powerful/ skillful.

Current and upcoming anime adaptations of the battle shonen manga. Includes both Shonen Jump's major hits (Boku no Hero Academia) or reboot of cult works (Shaman King, Bastard) as well as upcoming adaptations of of relatively new works.

Superhero anime ranging from sentai-like to western-inspired ones.

I just want to list some shows which show a little more explicit violence, please bear in mind that this list is not supposed to give you (only) pure splatter or even shows where the brutality is the focus. Hope you enjoy!

my anime recommendations, no order. only the first season of an anime is added, as i'm recommending the entire franchise, doesn't mean whatever season inserted here is my favorite.

some sequels don't follow up as strongly (later seasons of food war imo) but are still mostly enjoyable enough to recommend the whole franchise

Here's a little treat to everyone who can't wait for the spooky season! (Like me.)

List with every anime the were/will be dubbed through the year of 2024, with informations about streaming that it will be available and the ADR Production team.

(OBS: Animes like "Frieren: Beyond Journey's End" will not be shown on the list since theirs dubs are just in continuos exhibition from a previous year, just like long-running shows like "One Piece".)

While 2022 and 2023 both gave us an outstanding amount of new and original anime, what will 2024 bring us? Fortunately I'm here to create a list of shows and movies that I believe will define this year for new anime. I have not read the sources for anything I'm listing, meaning no manga insights, light novel spoilers, or visual novel validations. Everything listed below is based on whether the entry synopsis, poster, or title intrigues me, or whether I know of something that has made me excited for this show.

Criteria:
- The entry has to be a newly airing franchise (specifically not a sequel/prequel season), remakes are fair game though.
- The entry has to start airing within 2024 (meaning Frieren is going to miss this list unfortunately).
- The entry has to end it's season/cour by the end of Winter 2025.
- The entry has to be listed on MAL.

This list was made before the start of the Winter 2024 season, and is a reflection of the shows that were announced to be airing at some point in 2024.
