Cool Doji Danshi

Both anime follow the adorable goofy / clumsy antics of certain male characters. Both are very wholesome and warming for the soul. Both have mainly male characters with a few female side characters. Cool Doji Danshi follows 5 men of different ages and types of clumsy in different settings and how they all become friends and work through slice of life scenarios. Atarashii Joushi wa Do Tennen follows a man trying to over-come his past with a power harassing boss with his new goofy boss and his cat and co-workers. Office slice of life wholesomeness ensues. 

Cool men in work with a silly airheaded side to them x) In spite of this, these characters tend to give a healing effect to those around them just from their airheadedness. Main difference would be that Cool Doji features an array of clumsy guys as well as different environments whereas Atarashii Joushi it's only the Manager who is clumsy and is mainly office-centered, plus Atarashii Joushi has a bit more of a heavy plot, not too much but it is there. 

Similarity: * Both anime tells a story about a goofy/clumsy character * Both are also iyashikei/SoL and comedy. * Both have episodic undertone, which you can enjoy watching random episode without missing the story much. Key difference: * While in CDD has mainly 4 characters with clumsy characters in various age with their daily life, Atarashii Joushi focused on one character, the boss, (as the title suggest) in workplace background. 

Cute and funny antics from surprisingly clumsy people! 

Sweet anime boys, secret bl, slice of life, moe-feeling 

Both are basically about little cute guys doing embarrassing things! I find it adorable how in “Cool Doji Danshi/Play It Cool, Guy” theres just a bunch of guys who do embarrassing things and just try and pretend they dont care which is the point of the anime, so in “Atarashii Joushi wa Do Tennen/My New Boss Is Goofy” the main character has trama from his last boss and then when he gets his new boss he finds out he is “goofy” which is meaning that he does cute little embarrassing things like a kid (he doesnt really realize most of the time) and in a way it heals the main character and the people around him. When I was watching both I felt as if they were pretty similar and gave me the same sort of vibe, im sorry if theres any mistakes after watching so many animes in a relatively short period of time I may have forgotten parts or remembered things differently. I really wished this anime would turn out to be like “30-sai made Doutei dato Mahoutsukai ni Nareru Rashii” with the boys love office workspace type thing but I dont think there is any real romantic connection between the main 4 characters. read more 

Chill comedy shows about doofy guys living their best lives. They all have good hearts and can be a bit dense at times. Great ways to cheer up. 

These both shows has super relatable characters and their traits are explored in a very humorous way. They both give you the same feeling while watching it. If you're fan of one thing then I'd highly recommend the other one to you.

Both series have gentle details about the guy's daily life. Kimi to Boku is mainly the life of high school boys while Cool douji danshi has both college students and working people. The guys are super lovely in their own way.
