the characters, setting and the feel of the anime's are very similar. i think soul land has more comedy, at lest from what we've seen from throne of seal so far anyway. But if you like one you'll probably like the other.

They both have main characters who are thrust in odd worlds with varying plot goals. In my opinion Yi Ren Zhi Xia is more of a slow burn story rather than Shen Yin Wangzuo's more fast paced yet entertaining style story. 

Both lose their Parents early on and inherit a Power from them. Similar Art style.
