New Interest Stack
Interest StacksSeries that emphasise the presentation of struggle and dramatic event(s) through culminating the portrayal of the experience to that point visually or by some other means. This is a part of a series of stacks that are about artistic tendencies in anime (and that border the fine line between sophisticated and pretentious). After Mahoutsukai Sally - the first animated series adapted from a manga that was targeting the "shoujo" demographic (young female audience) - there have been many more works that were targeted to this new market following the initial success of "Mahoutsukai Sally" Anime with artistic main/sub plot, all kind of arts & performing arts are welcome here 😍 (music, dancing , acting, story telling, painting , voice acting ..etc) - idols anime are not included here though!😅 some lesser known shows, movies, etc. some have been very surprising gems to me. some mind-blowing, some heart-warming, some merely interesting, some just outright hilarious! This is a list of anime adapted from manga in the Hana to Yume magazine. I'm only including first seasons. Reboots and adaptations of sequel mangas are counted as separate adaptations. Anime which have one or a few podcasts dedicated to them on AniFem. These are not necessarily recommendations, but, more generally speaking, titles that are of interest. Part 2 of the"Anime that were dubbed in Greek" Interest Stack. Anime series that appeared as manga in shoujo magazines between 1970 - 1979 Lot of the longest series are for boys, so here I listed the longest series that are more girls focused as for some reason they are not as well known as the longest boys focused series. Based on Captain-Nisaka's video "Evolution of shoujo animes - 1966-2021 (COMPLET)" - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=AmrW6NNvnDc Part one here: https://myanimelist.net/stacks/5380 Part Three of the retro sensation that is gripping the nation! For better or worse these are the anime worth your time from days gone by. |
