What does the first Dragon Ball movie has to do with a hentai with thirty years of difference in the release? More than you'll think, as it's already more of a known fact that at least the first saga of Dragon Ball is based on the novel Journey to the west, one of the most famous pieces of Asian literature in existence, and the first movie of Dragon Ball is an alternate version of that same saga (sure it kinda also mixes the Red Ribbon saga, but it's all the same). Saiyuuki, Journey To The West, whichever way you call it is a famous Chinese novel, famous enough to have a lot of adaptations or influenced works throughout Asia, of course Iyashite is one of those and is also a hentai with surprisingly good action scenes, and if you've haven't slept under a rock you'll know that in the beginning Dragon Ball was a loose adaptation of Wu Cheng'en work, so the first movie remade the first saga focused only on the journey that the monk and the other characters made, with changes in the characters and everything else, so yeah, they're both based on Saiyuuki,  read more
