New Interest Stack
Interest StacksCollection of anime that focus on as a main theme or include visual, performing or literary arts that are considered a part of traditional Japanese culture. These are the cream of the crop when it comes to slice of life romance anime. All of these shows do one thing exceptionally well, whether that be comedy, characters, or romance. Any piercing that isn't a lobe piercing. Anime with a loner protagonist. Well, at least at the start since introducing new characters is unavoidable. I'm only including the ones where the solitary mindset has been somewhat emphasised. Anime that teaches the viewer about or creates interest in a subject. Focusing on more tangible topics, not something subjective or abstract like life lessons. Romantic couples or potential couples in which the girl has the dominant personality in the relationship. Girl tends to tease and/or order her male love interest around, and takes the lead in most situations. Some of them don't particularly have any interesting or new plot, but are wholesome and nice to watch, without any strong drama or action On this stack , I will attempt to make a newcomer's entrance into the japanese animated medium as smooth as possible. By the end of this stack I'm hoping you will be a well enough rounded anime watcher to understand what you like and what you dislike, as well as having you experience anime that are very good and others not as good, for you to appreciate anime as it is rather than showing off only the gems when the chest is 80% full of rocks. Most adaptations are, at best, on par with the original. Some aspects are better, some worse, so it's down to preference as to how to enjoy a story. There are, of course, many, *many* outright stinkers that make one think the original was far worse than it actually was. But sometimes there comes an adaptation made with such outstanding effort, it elevates the source material onto a completely new level of experience: either through masterful editing or reimagining of the original narrative, or visionary direction, or incredible sound design, or career-topping performance from animators and/or voice actors. These anime will immediately catch your eye when it comes to their art! Fanservice can be distasteful, unnecessary, or passable. And then there's this: fanservice so clever, confident and mindfully self-indulgent that it stops being fanservice and becomes a defining feature of an anime and a remarkable artistic achievement in its own right. Can't even get mad at it. Romance Anime that set the bar for what a romance anime should be. |
