Thrown together for personal reference; does not include shows that I cannot vet the content of due to having no experience watching, and the quality of shows listed is irrelevant.

Explicitly Cannon Couples and Hard Subtext Shows. Subtext shows listed here have substantial content and not just a little bit of teasing here and there. Subtext can also be an unspoken focal point of the series. These are shows I can actually recommend and like enough to suggest checking out.

-some popular shows in here simply worth mentioning because it would be criminal not to mention them.

Anime that has time travel elements on it. It can be the main theme of the show or just a few episodes as long as time travel happened but wouldn't include those where time travel could be a major spoiler... if you know, you know.

I mean the title literally. Shows/movies than have anything relating to time as a plot point. maybe a power to see the future, maybe sending a message to the past or maybe even time travel.

keep in mind that in some of these, knowing there is time stuff may spoil you to some degree, so go in at your own risk.

Note: even for shows that have time manipulation in multiple seasons, I only included a single season to leave room for more future entries. I also don't see the point of having the same show multiple times in the list.

Note 2: the details are about the time travel aspect only, not the show. for example a show that has a lot of plot holes, but in a way that none of them are related to the time travel element, would be declared without plot holes in this particular list.

"When it's time for business, get the hell out of my way. If it means creating a path filled with blood and death, so be it." Humans are complex creatures, unpredictable animals despite how civilised they may be. Here's a list that presents how environments around us can influence a person to release its natural instincts that lay dormant inside.

To
fellow Time Travellers friends,

This list focuses mainly on anime that has a time travel element to it... where the protagonist will go back in time to fix a problem by using some superpower or another means...

*** some rant ***
I just finished watching "Island" not to spoil that anime... there's some underserved review about it that says to be controversial and ecchi but in reality, the series was made on purpose to be confusing and misleading for people to get some deceptive ideas, some of the series on the list has the same features... I mean its needs to be seen until finished to clear the water...there's no way around it... unless the anime was really bad you cant even finish it...is a give or take... you either risk disappointment or missing it out...

if you are too young then maybe avoid it for the ecchi start but I think is an interesting watch... is like the best thing since discovering warm water, at the end in this genre generally...so don't expect the end to be deeply profound and life-changing...

the only anime to avoid if you are too young is Redo of Healer is very explicit in adult content...

this type of anime on the list is meant to be confusing and misleading to create that mysteriousness... you might have some guessing figuring out. because of contradictions, it gets suspicious then you discover if your suspicion was right or was way off, that's the fun I guess...

usually, it gets interesting when starts to unfold like origami... you see the outside then it will unfold until is the paper with the marks, the origin of it...

feel free to share with me your experience on other interesting anime that caught your attention, preferably that with deep meaning and life-changing, if possible...

the end,

2027

This inhumanly derivative, formulaic, escapist, consumerist and incestuous genre is one of my guilty pleasures, and in my journey through it I have found some good stuff. Here are shows which either execute the classic isekai tropes well and simply have quality, or shows that may not be the best, but which at least have an interesting execution of the isekai concept that subverts expectations or at least isn't so derivative, generic or mediocre as others.

Includes inverse isekai shows (fantasy world character going to Earth) and anime that almost nobody counts as isekai, as they don't fit into the fantasy RPG setting, but technically are isekai, in the literal sense of the term.

Only one per franchise.

This is a part of a series of stacks that are about artistic tendencies in anime (and that border the fine line between sophisticated and pretentious).

This stack is a work in progress.

A show with different kinds of toxic protagonists. However, although not in all cases, MCs often get better as the story progresses.

I love trains. Only if a character rides a train, not just a train is on screen. Although that is cool too. As I find them, I will add them to the list.

The yuri anime genre unfortunately has a reputation for creating relationships between female characters that are incredibly ambiguous. This is a list of anime in which the romantic/sexual relationship between the two girls is very clear (and not one-sided). The girls in question should be major characters and their relationship should be one of if not the biggest driving point(s) of the show. No hentai titles, as adding even one would get the whole list marked nsfw. Some representation on this list is better than others, and I have provided an opinion under each title.

I would like to continue growing this list, so if I am missing one that you think fits the above criteria, please message me! Thank you.

And no, Gushing over Magical girls is not on here. I do not feel comfortable recommending it to anyone.

There will be a part 2 to this once the total goes above 50.
