New Interest Stack
Interest Stacks(Part 1) Some of the best love stories are in anime you wouldn't expect. This list compiles not only romance anime but great romance IN anime that most likely you would never know without watching it. Here are some I think you will enjoy! This list includes anime from all genres so there is something for everyone! Fantasy, comedy, drama, and more...all guaranteed to make your heart flutter. Does not include sequels or side stories. Anime of every genre and score that have vampires or monsters very similar to vampires as a main character or heavy focus. Different from the vampire tag as this excludes characters with (only) blood related powers or anime with creatures called vampires that don't have most vampire traits. Only includes the first season of each anime unless vampires only appear in a later season or ova, in which case when they appear is included instead. Shows that have female Vampires as main or supporting characters. Shounen doesn't involve romance. I've seen quite a few Anime fans who use this argument to dismiss discussions of who the main protagonist in a Shounen work will end up with. The problem is, instead of being an accurate statement, the statement instead is a red flag to those of us who've seen quite a bit of Anime. We know that person isn't as familiar with the Shounen demographic (not genre) as they think they are, but the intent of this list is to help others better familiarize themselves with the genre. Not all Shounen series have a male as their main protagonist, whether it be that they are the singular main protagonist or there be other mains including males in the series. For me, recommendations are more helpful when they come with some context or explanation. The Mother's Basement (1.33M subs) YouTube channel provides just that in a way that I find entertaining. Once upon a time, before KPI and censorship strikes, these are the list of anime that ever aired on Indonesian TV. One of the biggest critiques of anime as a medium is that it feels that there is a limited space for girls, shows/characters that cater to us. It's easy to say "WHAT ABOUT SHOUJO" but you know that's not everyone's cup of tea. Really puts it into perspective when you see that there are only like, 100 josei anime listed on this site. |
