The pinnacle of the Mecha genre, Robo-Tech is a true work of art.  If you liked Evangelion, you'll sure love this, even if you don't watch Mecha.

Both series are about the conflict between 2 diffirent races, but in both series war is not the only topic. There are alot of romantic relationships, and also distict diffirentces between the two races's ideologies and lifestyle and also in both series characters are well established as well as they are charismatic.

Both stories are about the humankind and other alien faction, which are simmilar and yet so diffirent, altho Southern Cross focuses more on the military side, Nadesico is more about the personal needs and struggles of the characters, and also it has way more comedy in it.
