New Interest Stack
Interest StacksReal robots are a subgenre of the mecha genre, in which the mechas are depicted as realistic warmachines as opposed to the superheroistic depiction of the super robot subgenre. It was started in 1979 by Mobile Suit Gundam. ▁ ▂ ▄ ▅ ▆ ▇ █ 𝓑𝓵𝓪𝓬𝓴 ✦ 𝓑𝓻𝓸𝔀𝓷 𝓲𝓷 𝓐𝓷𝓲𝓶𝓮 ⟨⟨ 𝔖𝔢𝔠𝔬𝔫𝔡 𝔈𝔡𝔦𝔱𝔦𝔬𝔫 ⟩⟩ █ ▇ ▆ ▅ ▄ ▂ ▁ This is a part of a series of stacks that are about artistic tendencies in anime (and that border the fine line between sophisticated and pretentious). I tried to make this list using mostly lesser-known fanservice-free anime. Most of these make the list based on having MAL ratings lower than PG-13 or having clean ratings for no sexual content or nudity on doesthedogdie.com. Some of the selections in the list do have fanservice in the original Japanese version that was omitted for the Western release. List of anime that aired in Peru. This third part is going to cover anime that originally aired in the 80's. The stack is going to be updated if some title is missing or hasn't been aired in Peru. Shows that Hironobu Kageyama has sung in, has been credited in, or is plainfully obvious that it's him. Anime from the list of cyberpunk animation and comics compiled by fan Andrew Stoker in the early 2000s. Anime that were used for foreign markets to mix-match together and redub in order to create a wholly original plotline. Also known as Macekre for Carl Macek, creator of the most notable example of this practice, Robotech. I, and I suspect many others, have fond memories of Robotech. I understand MAL rules and accept the fact Robotech does not qualify for entry here. Still... Prominet member of Vancouver anime scenes Before Gundam became a heavyweight franchise in 1985, there were several mecha anime in the early 80s that had more engaging, serialized stories and realistic, complicated characters and worldbuilding, but still shared a lot of similarities with 1970s mecha anime. This is a list of such mecha anime. Tired of adaptions, reboots, and remakes in your sci-fi anime? Frustrated that MAL doesn't allow you to filter by source material? Well, this list has you covered. Robotech is an American 85-episode adaptation of three unrelated Japanese anime television series (from three different fictional universes) made between 1982 and 1984 in Japan; the adaptation was aired in 1985. |
