Mitsuko Horie is a japanese singer and actress, she is known as the "Queen of Anime Music" due to her countless and valuable contributions to the scene of anime music over her long career spanning over 50 years.

This list is a collection of series that I view are essential when it comes to experiencing Mitsuko Horie "Micchi" as an artist through her work on anime series. Ordered on how important and big role of the experience her performance plays in the series as a whole.

A lot of 70's mecha haven't been translated in english or only have bad bootleg/machine translations that makes them unwatchable. These are the ones that got intelligible fansubs (even if not perfect) or an official english release in the west. (only long-running TV Shows)

Because we're at the point these shows are turning 50, I decided to make a list of 70s anime made by the greatest minds of the time, with each of these classic shows marked next to its legendary creator, because they simply don't get enough love from anime fans nowadays.

Anime that ran for approximately a single year. Episode counts including 45-55. Japanese anime only.
