The Animation Film Award (アニメーション映画賞) is an award given to the best animated feature film at the Mainichi Film Awards. The award was established to reward large scale cinematic animation, enabling the Oofuji Noburou Award to focus on shorter pieces. This award was first presented in 1989 for Kiki's Delivery Service by Hayao Miyazaki.

The Tokyo Anime Awards started in 2002, but was named in 2005. The first, second and third award ceremonies were simply named 'Competition'. The award ceremonies were held at the Tokyo International Anime Fair (TAF) until 2013. In 2014, after the merger of the Tokyo International Anime Fair with the Anime Contents Expo and the formation of the AnimeJapan convention, the Tokyo Anime Awards was changed into a separate festival called Tokyo Anime Awards Festival (TAAF).

Since 2014, Tokyo Anime Award Festival has given an Anime of the Year Grand Prize in two categories, Film and Television.

These are anime Adaptations that came out before their source material was finished or for some other reason the staff decided to conclude in their own way.
I like to think of these as alternate versions of the story rather than adaptations.

Movies based on established properties. Some of these franchises have more than 10 movies, so for variety sakes I'll be limiting it to 4 per franchise. I'm also excluding movies that are canon (eg: End of Eva, Mugen Train, DSoD, JJK0) and movie adaptations (Berserk, Hokuto no Ken, etc.) hence I'm only counting filler.

I want to put a situation in your head, you are someone in Japan who happens apon the Fullmetal Alchemist one shot manga, you read it and enjoy it, you find out that a manga will come out so you pick it up and start reading it. My goal with this stack is to organize every Fullmetal Alchemist in release order, episode by episode chapter by chapter, to give you the full Fullmetal Alchemist experience.

Legend:
FMA = the manga
FMA LN = Light Novel
FMA VGN = video game novel (part of light novel 7) these adapt the video games stories
FMAA = the first anime (2003)
FMAB = the second anime (brotherhood)
FMAB S = Fullmetal Alchemist: Brotherhood Special
Anything released all on the same day (movies, one-shots) will be fully named

Buzz was a Spanish subscription television channel produced by AMC Networks International Iberia. Its programming focused on horror content, both in current series and movies.

Despite not being Spanish, I have managed to appreciate the content that this channel transmitted along with several of its dubbings into Castilian Spanish, which, from my point of view, are mostly worth it.

The Swedish TV channel ZTV started broadcasting various anime series in february 2007. They later introduced some new shows and movies. All of them were aired in Japanese, with Swedish subtitles. ZTV stopped airing anime in september 2009. (In august 2010, the channel closed.)

Here are all the known titles, in order by their confirmed premiere dates. They all had reruns and new time slots at various points.

Isekai as an idea is just transporting to "another" world. There are endless possibilities so it's kind of crazy how pretty much all of them are near identical in idea, even the good ones.

So, as a result, some of the shows that should be considered isekai, aren't even remembered as that because of the image of the word "isekai" being the same exact generic fantasy.

BUT

There are many shows that transport a character to a new world, and couldn't be anymore different from your average "in another world" story... HENCE, I WELCOME THEE TO:

A sister list of https://myanimelist.net/stacks/35061 to show which anime were in the top 20 most popular. Description will have the day they first entered along with what score and its highest popularity ranking. I will not be including its highest member count since that will increase every day, you can just see it by clicking on the link to its MAL page. By its nature, the Top 10 doesn't change very much, especially when compared to the highest rated anime. So for the sake of filling out the list, I will include up to the 20th spot along with all anime that hit the 2 million member milestone, though that won't come into play until the second half of the list.
Found with the Wayback Machine (https://web.archive.org/), with the earliest crawl being on July 4, 2007.
