I’ve watched the first four parts and the first 24 episodes of the fifth part of JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure and only one episode of Shaman King (2021)...but it really reminds me of part 3. Both have similar fighting styles and both give me the same feeling. I can tell that Hiroyuki Takei was inspired by Hirohiko Araki. I’d say if you liked any part of JoJo, more so Part 3, you’d like Shaman King (2021).

Both are about someone needing to get stronger through competition with spiritual powers.

I only began watching it, but Ueki no Housoku is very similar to Shaman King (2021). The storyline is very similar and the main characters, Yoh and Ueki, are also pretty similar as well! They both gave me the same feeling. If you liked one of these, check out the other!

the animation and concept are similar. Bushi defeating oni's and shaman king being friends with ghost are probably similar in one way or another

They both have that high school air, with self-conclusive episodes, only instead of Shinigamis, Shamans. You could say that for now Shaman King is like the first Bleach saga.

Grand-scale stories with a large sum of characters whose potential is brought down by ridiculously fast pacing. While not entirely comparing the puppets from Karakuri Circus to the Shaman's partners, Guardian Ghosts serve the purpose of helping the characters in their fights, puppets in KC are more of a tool unlike ghosts' distinct personalities in Shaman King. They also have interesting fights complimented by their environment but I'd argue Shaman's visuals look more janky while the work by Studio VOLN on KC is the highlight of the whole show. (I'm willing to do an update once I finish Shaman King, whenever that may be, in the  read more

The concept of shamans strongly resembles that of masters. Both involve the use of ghost-like entities (spirits and servants) to fight each other. Both series also involve the practice of similar rituals (the Shaman Fight and the Holy Grail War), where these special people fight each other to win the tournament, which each grant a grand prize (the Great Spirit and the Holy Grail).

Both Noragami and Shaman King (2021) revolve around the supernatural, and the main protagonists, Yoh Akasura and Yato, are very similar. Storylines are different, as Noragami doesn’t focus on tournaments, but the feeling I got from both anime are very similar.

Fate/stay night is quite similar to Shaman King while applying a relationship philosophy between a master and a servant and a Shaman and it's spirit (Fate stay/night and Shaman King, respectively). Both protagonist doesn't develop their relationship as simple user and tool but they, strongly, depends of the concept of bond. In other words, mutual respect has being a key figure to develop this fellowship and, both of them, at their own pace, build this constant trait while their protagonist tries to reach an goal. So, if you're looking for a journey of founded philosophy while understand the other ones pain and struggles and, by  read more

Shaman King (2021) is similar to Soul Eater because they both revolve around human weapons and the supernatural. Both have very funny moments and have some similar characters. The animation is better in Soul Eater, but both are worth watching IMO.

Both are action anime and both have main character that have a goal that needs to be achieved by becoming something, in Dragon Quest Dai no Daibouken the main character wants to become a hero and in Shaman King the mc wants to be a Shaman King

Reboots for classic shounens with a more "modern" artstyle as well as being a more complete adaptation rather than being left off at a weird spot. In these series, the main protagonist is a young boy with a goal and the series pretty much revolves around that fact through some memorable adventures
