Both series are about a group of friends pursuing exciting adventures and using magic powers to defeat their foes. Both have main characters that are very similar to each other (personality and design) and heavily rely in themes like family and friendship and also have plenty of fanservice/comedic moments. Lastly, Fairy Tail and Edens Zero were created by the same mangaka. If you liked Fairy Tail, you will probably like Edens Zero.

Both have similar themes of friendship and adventure. They travel to different locations with their own cultures and both have a strong sense of exploration with friends.

These shows aren't super similar but what they do have in common is that they're shounens directed to a younger audience (10-13 year olds). Both shows have their fair share of ecchi elements but thats standard for the shounen genre. So yeah if you like edens zero you probably will like shaman king :)

If you like artistic power systems, and legendary OP's that will never leave your head, that will make ecstacy and bliss your default state of being, EZ and UU made me experience incomprehensible euphoria from both of their magical OPs, their unique plot, crazy worldbuilding and gorey fights and creative power system, make both them an immersive bizarre adventure

The characters in both shows venture in space together. They have very different plots but similarly in every planet they visited. There are always new adventures to see and do.

Space adventuring from one planet to the other in search of a superior universe goddess to grant wishes. Presence of androids with hearts.

I'm going to be biased on this part... both animes aren't that great. butt if you like one, you'd probably like the other. -Both main protagonists want to pursue their dream/goal, but their reasoning is very shallow. Despite not having strong reasoning, they are very committed. -Both anime are about adventure, traditional shounen where the characters travel around, meet people, defeat evil that comes across their path -Both main protagonists is abnormally stronger/unique powers compared to normal humans -In Fairy tail and Eden zero vs. Orient and Magi, the original characters of the series are carried over to the new anime they made.

Similar types of adventure story about seeking a a being (or objects that lead to a being) that can grant wishes. In Edens Zero, Shiki was raised by robots and meets female V-Cuber Rebecca, they go on an adventure to find "Mother", a goddess who can grant wishes. In the Pilaf Saga of Dragon Ball, Son Goku was raised by a human man and meats female adventurer Bulma, they go on an adventure to find the seven dragon balls that can unlock Shenlong, a dragon god who can grant wishes.
