Fuyu no Sonata

Both animes have a melancholy romantic feeling. Both follow a pair of childhood friends into adulthood and show the distance between them. 

-Main male protagonist has amnesia and forgets about past -About first love (first school love) -Love interests begins back when there in school then fast forwards to when they're an adult -Male protagonists forgets about female protagonists but she remembers him clearly - Main character tries to gain back memories - Languages: One is Korean and the other is Chinese 

Both contains relationship problems, and lost memories that needs to be regained. 

Both dealing with relationship problems and twists between the main characters in realistic setting. Winter Sonata has somewhat less realistic plot at some points and focuses on more mature people - in their late twenties or even thirties, rather than college/university students in White Album. Winter Sonata less "harem" and more oriented into women than men but anyway it is worth to see if you liked White Album. 

-Both based on a Korean drama. -The BGM used in particular scenes are similar. -Both contain tragic themes.
