Senyoku no Sigrdrifa

Both are similar from one another in a sense of its idea towards the message that it wants to offer to its viewers. With difference in atmosphere, environment, and context yet similar in terms of purpose and objectives that the protagonist/s want/s to accomplish. Essentially, both centers around the occurance of unknown forces that became a threat to humanity while introducing adorable female characters with extra-ordinary skills and capabilities whom are the only ones that are able to defeat it without dying from it. Having a setting being in a futuristic apocalyptic-like future, one can enjoy these series if they get their interest into it.

Both anime are about girls driving planes to fight monster. Both have battle scene on sky fighting. They are similar to the another except girly has a male main character but warlords does not has. 

Both anime are about cute young girls with special magical abilities that allow them to soar through the sky's at will and harnesses incredible destructive powers. They use these magical abilities in combination with military tech in order to wage an all out war against a seemingly endless alien invasion. The exact goals of the these invaders is unknown but a key part of their plan seems to hinge on occupying and destroying as much human territory as possible. To start off, both of the main characters are extremely similar. They are both haunted by their past with loosing comrades/friends. They both find new strength in protecting their comrades/friends. Both shows contain military elements, with secret operations and protecting the world from a supernatural enemy. Both of the shows have girls from different countries but they eventually end up altogether Japan. The only real difference is that one focuses more on magical girls and the other focuses more on girls with fighter jets.  

Girls are military personnel who go into combat. Mix of action and slice of life. Story starts with a girl transferring in.
