Isekai slice of life series, both with plots caused by interacting with slimes in different ways.
report Recommended by HalRyder
Both are rather OP but relaxed about it Both MC's get put into another world after they died Both involve slimes (Tensei the MC is the slime; kami the MC collects them) Kami is more slice of life with more relaxed vibe. Tensei has more combat but still is about the nice chill moments.

These two share the common thread of an adult being put in a child's body and introducing amazing technology to their new typical anime fantasy world. Honzuki is a great, great tale for people who like worldbuilding and a realistic approach to it. Main crafts things from modern times and uses or sells them, which requires her to price them (often far, far more expensive than she thinks) and not get cheated out of it all at many points of the process. She carefully examines her options, is a good diplomat and often ends up having her way despite moments of walking a pretty  read more

both are chill to watch with friends that help each other and both of them are isekai with the MC's having their classic 'op' powers

Kid protagonists both worked too hard in their previous life. Open a shop/pharmacy as a business. Both MC are OP characters.

Similarities - Both MCs reincarnate into a fantasy world - Both MCs are in the same age group - Both MCs have overpowered abilities (OPMC) - Both MCs use their knowledge to create tools/inventions Differences - MC in kami tachi is more aligned to technology development (economy/inventions) VS MC in Strongest Sage is aligned to technique development (enchanting/spell casting)

Both shows are Isekai's where the MC is a tamer who has a lot of slimes at his side, helping him with a lot of different tasks. Although they take very different approaches from here. My Isekai Life is your standard OP Adventurer MC protecting a town with the help of his slimes and his magic disposal while By the grace of the gods is more of a slice-of-life where the young MC settles in a town doing some mundane tasks and ends up opening up a laundry, using the slimes to wash off al the grimes from the townspeople's clothes.

Both protagonists were living dull lives and died. They were then reborn in another world as a child. They make an effort to change themselves as they live their second life more freely.

Both shows are Isekais where MC dies and reincarnates in a world with magic, both MC has lived in the forest all their life without going out in the world. In Kenja no mago MC has met no more than around 7 people in his life but in Kami-tachi he has only known slimes all his life. They both don't know what the common sense is in the new world that they're in thanks to living apart from society, meaning they don't know that they are strong becuase they think what they're doing is something other people can do. People close to the MC gets shocked  read more

In both main character is reincarnated as an OP small child by gods who take an active interest in his life. They also both become talented and high ranking adventurers in very little time.

This recommendation is made for those looking for Isekai with a touch of familial relationships with the added bonus of there being a little kid that is being looked out for by at least one adult in the series as well as the bonds created within the series. Both are heartwarming in their own ways, each differing slightly based on the given series.

Two isekai fantasies where the child-aged MC's tame a slime who become their partners for the majority of the stories They meet a variety of different people solving cases that happen whilst becoming well liked with the people they trust Saijaku Tamer does have a more serious story compared to Kamihiro but their journeys are touching to the heart and makes you want to support the two MC's

Similarities: Both Sasaki to Pii-chan and Kamitachi ni Hirowareta Otoko (By the Grace of the Gods) feature main characters who have non-human companions. They depict protagonists who form close bonds with creatures from their respective fantasy worlds, utilizing their companions' unique abilities to aid in their endeavors. Differences: Sasaki to Pii-chan focuses on economic strategies and interdimensional trading as the protagonist establishes a general goods trading business across different worlds. The series emphasizes entrepreneurship and the integration of modern knowledge into various societal frameworks to build wealth and influence. In contrast, Kamitachi ni Hirowareta Otoko revolves around a protagonist who, after reincarnation, develops a business related to laundry and  read more

Comedy Isekai Genre about taming monsters. Hataage has a lot more chaos and comedy though and doesn't take itself seriously.

Both feature an MC who gets transported into a fantasy world. They introduce ideology/technology that is unheard of in the foreign world. They are also very well respected among the royal family.

Both involve the MC being transported into another world. Both set up shops in another world while introducing technology and ideology that is unheard of in their current world. As a result, they end up gathering a lot of unwanted attention

Both MCs died after an unfortunate accident. Both MCs receive god's blessing and have the ability to communicate with god. Both MCs use the knowledge they have in their previous life to assist them in their adventure. Both MCs are kind and caring to others around him, which earns him a lot of respect. Both MCs also help Nobel/kings and eventually become friends with them. Both anime are relatively lighthearted anime. I can recommend Grace of the Gods if you enjoy Smartphone

Both are Isekai series, that are relaxed and not focused on battles. In both, the main characters are given magical abilities by a god and live in a rural. They both begin to create and introduce things from their old worlds in their new worlds. They also are able to befriend local monsters of their world.

Two fantasy animes with salarymen who get isekai'd and make connections within their settings. They both have light hearted comedic moments with action and combat mixed in to their new lives in the otherworld. As both main characters make connections with the people they meet on their journey, they become well liked by others within the communities they live in.

You know that kind of anime that the feeling is so easy going and good to see that you just want it everyday? Their stories have nothing in common, it’s the feeling they give us that makes them similar. Both have hardworking protagonists who struggle day after day to become better while remaining true to themselves. Furthermore, as in Fune wo Amu, nothing extraordinary happens and that's the magic. It is the particularities of everyday life that make the story. The other characters are also suitable in a plot plus, although different, both series are slice of life only one in the context of isekai in a magical  read more

An adult finds himself in the body of a young boy ina fantasy world. MC has an affinity to magic and can think outside the box which helps him gaining friends and advancing in the new society.

Ever wondered what it would be like to start again in a younger body with your old self awereness/soul? Both anime work with this question as their main theme, but in compeletely different settings. While ReLIFE is set in modern Japan with school and Japanese society framing the days of the protagonist, Kami-tachi... is set in a fantasy world with magic and beautiful forests.

Two isekai anime from Maho Film studio directed by Yuuji Yanase with an OP MC reincarnated into their RPG-esque worlds after their irl death. A difference is that Kami-tachi starts off near the beginning of when Ryouma was isekai'd and starts on his journeys encountering humans in that world. In Leadale, Cayna had already existed for a long time but we start at the end of her 200 year hiatus from that world. Both shows have Azusa Tadokoro singing a song for (Kami-tachi's OP and Leadale's ED) and accentuate more on a good life in their isekai's so if you enjoy the light-hearted and humorous at time  read more

Two fun and relaxing fantasies with serious moments and conflict here and there where the MCs were isekai'd into a child with some kind of ability relating to other creatures. MCs in both find peace in their new life, their skills in taming slimes in Kamihiro and befriending every animal in Mofunade is also very alike. With their skills being the highlight to what encounters they make, they would meet a variety of different people and become well liked by those around them along the way.

Both are isekai characters that are reincarnated in a new world and have a love for their hobby. Both are also quite OP in their new world.

Both shows follow an exhausted office worker who, through fantastical means, is able to find respite from his job. Both have a similar peaceful atmosphere and are relatively drama/conflict-free. If you find yourself stressed about a project for work or finals for college, or simply need to unwind after a long day, these two shows are great choices.

Two fantasy slice of life isekai's that are equally light-hearted and have enough action sequences to make it exciting with the plot of the character's journeys. In both, the MC's are reincarnated for different reasons but would regularly converse with the God's of their universes and are blessed by them too. The MC's in both are always meeting new friendly people along the way. Main difference is that Kamihiro features lots slimes who are tamed by the MC whereas in Iseyuru the MC is accompanied by two children, plus the MC in Kamihiro reincarnates as a child but the MC in Iseyuru is still himself.

Both kinda has the same chill vibe of slice of life. They are both something to sit back and relax on after a long day. Would recommend both if you have watched one of them.
