Interest StacksMost good stories have this, so this is more like, anime that use show don't tell the a lot and do it effectively. Anime with men who have all of the following traits: people tell me I have weird tastes. But I enjoy a good amount of series. I also watch alot that others havent seen, so I wanted to compile some good ones I have enjoyed that many may have not seen. Anime set in aforementioned time periods. Some of them are technically not historical but have the vibes. Anime of every genre and score that have vampires or monsters very similar to vampires as a main character or heavy focus. Different from the vampire tag as this excludes characters with (only) blood related powers or anime with creatures called vampires that don't have most vampire traits. Only includes the first season of each anime unless vampires only appear in a later season or ova, in which case when they appear is included instead. Anime where vampirism is presented as a true curse or vampires act like actual monsters instead of it being a quirky character trait. Only has the first season or where the vampire(s) appear included. A collection themed around the spookiest time of year, but it's always Halloween in my soul... As the title says, anime that on first look, you'd think are Shoujo/Josei but they are Shounen or Seinen instead for some reason.... "Atmosphere is defined as the pervading mood of a person, place, or work of art. The mastery of atmosphere in movies controls how a person feels while watching a movie, whether it be a creeping dread pulling down on the viewer or an exhilarating energy that makes the viewer feel like they can fly." So i wanted to add here the anime i can call "realistic,semi-realistic,not weird face or boyshaped, not moe" Shows that I personally feel are underwatched/underated, and should get more attention! They are not obscure, hidden gems that nobody has watched before, but even so, it'd be nice if more people discovered them :) A selection of shows that centralizes on the idea of evil, whether as a direct presence or a symbolic representation, that revels in themes of hostility, corruption, debauchery and death that ultimately, cause the grievous and tragic collapse of one's sense of humanity. Due to its dark nature, this list is unfiltered and therefore, may display lurid elements that are problematic. But if you're here to seek the thrills of violence and the spills of blood, then witness the dance of the Devil. Realistic or semi-realistic art styles, proper face & body proportions, nothing that looks too cartoon-ish or stereotypical overly detailed big anime eyes or moe art style |
