Compiling older magical girl in case anybody wants to do a deep dive into the genre. Anything before 2000. 1-3 - https://myanimelist.net/stacks/14457 Using this [https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dLZYtFRoMGQ | Magical Girls Timeline 1966-2020] as reference for this stack, I made it in hopes it might help people who are into this genre find anime they haven't watched/didn't know existed yet.. or really just people who'd like to get into something new. After Mahoutsukai Sally - the first animated series adapted from a manga that was targeting the "shoujo" demographic (young female audience) - there have been many more works that were targeted to this new market following the initial success of "Mahoutsukai Sally" Anime series that appeared as manga in shoujo magazines between 1970 - 1979 List of shojosei anime that has Latin American Spanish dub. Its generalist programming has been characterized (in most of its history) by having a youthful and children's cut with the broadcast of cartoons and comedy series, which has made it the main competitor at the national level in free-to-air TV, Televisa's Canal 5. Toei Majokko Series is an original magical girl franchise from Toei Animation in the Showa era (from 1966 to 1981). |
