Maybe those works partially helped me and others to acquire Japanese by the work itself, directly or indirectly. No other hints(english, native subs via sub skimming and negative delay, memorized words) to the japanese being expressed were necessary

Not that Anime in general is difficult to comprehend in the long run, his show and tell and compelling narration helps a bunch. At least the top 500 on myanimelist have compelling stories for everyone.

Accepting suggestions for new stories.

Yeah...I was a Digimon kid growing up. I can't even begin to count how many times I watched and rewatched the Digimon Movie on VHS back in the day.

This guide is for all my fellow 90's kids who are looking for that sweet, sweet nostalgia, or just anyone else who is curious about the series. I've included everything in the core franchise, though I will be leaving out the odd few shorts that just don't really add anything.

So without further ado, heres the watch order for everything Digimon.

This stack is intended for a show that premiered and peaked in popularity during the so-called Generation Z, and was also largely intended for this audience (people born between 1997 and 2012). Accordingly, the list also includes updated versions of classic franchises for modern audiences.

If I missed anything, including among the upcoming hyped adaptations, feel free to PM me about it.

The most prominent signs or clichés of anime for the zoomer audience:

* Return to the topic of confrontation between adolescents and adults who do not understand them and the conflict of individualism against collectivism in general.
* More progressive content, expanded focus on feminism, environmentalism, LGBTQ friendliness and awareness of many other social topics, etc.
* More female (especially in previously more or less male franchises) or unusual development of male protagonists, expansion of the role and writing of female characters in general.
* Increased attention to the realities of modern life like gadgets, social networks (Internet) and modern pop culture in general.
* More focus on psychology and personal experiences, including the suffering of the characters than on pure action and fanservice.
* More adaptations of non-standard sources or topics like Korean manhwa or Chinese games.

P.S. The list is constantly updated depending on the emergence of new significant anime or the loss of relevance of old ones.

Those series that had not one but TWO (or more!) anime adaptations!!

Disclaimer: I'm not sure that I know every anime that fits this criteria so I will add those that I already know about and add more as I see more of this (dm me or comment in my profile if you want me to add an specific item, stick to the rules down below tho). This will prolly need more parts due to the 50 items limit per list, any new part will be linked at the end of this description. This is not a recommendation list, there's some adaptations that I wouldn't recommend but they're included since it fits the topic of the list, as it's purpose is giving visibility to these type of cases.

Rules:
-Has to be at least 2 anime adaptations (regarding of length/episode number/format..) of the same original media (manga, novel, game, etc).
-Sequels don't count, so won't be added (you can search sequels for an adaptation on your own by clicking the name of the item to go to it's page). I do this to reduce the amount of items per list due to the 50 item limit per stack, in this way there's less parts needed for continue this 'project'.

This stack is dedicated to anime, most of whose characters have very bright and noticeable gimmicks and archetypes. For example, a superhero story with very cartoonish characters, a romance with a bunch of very archetypal visual novel-like love interests, or a fantasy where each character represents some very distinct RPG classes and fantasy races. If you've ever been into professional wrestling, classic superhero stories, or just for some reason love colorful characters with an accentuated idea, then this stack is for you!

P.S. There are clearly many more shows like this than I've added at this point, so don't be afraid to suggest something for me to add.
