Films that were nominated for the Best Animation of the Year prize given by the Japan Academy Film Prize Association, first awarded in 2007. All five nominees are awarded the Excellent Animation of the Year (優秀アニメーション作品) by the association. All of these anime are tearjerks in their own merit, you might not cry at all of them, but all of these have a high potential to. ┈┈┈┈┈┈┈┈┈┈┈┈┈┈┈ This stack is a collection of anime that are either set during summer or convey summer vibes (for example are set in a place next to the ocean). Romantic Subtext is a genre in which romance plays an important part of the show, but is not necessarily the main focus. This list contains all movies that aren't related with any anime series. These are the family based films and films can be watched together with your family. Who said your parents and sibling can't watch anime? Of course, they can too. As long it's decent XD Jokes aside, here is my collection of animes films that your family might enjoy too. Every animated media that has been made has the idea to tell a story and to express a feeling on the watcher. But then, there are some series which has a particular way to evocate their sentiments and they use different tools to do that. Thought provoking writing, displaying the characters' internal monologues, their struggles and fears, using particular cinematographic angles and by blending contrasting styles of animation, coloring and highly symbolical and metaphorical imagery - these are some of the many hallmarks signifying the said animation has psychological themes, and that it is avant-garde in it's approach. This method of expression is not limited to any genre, as well. What I look for the most in an anime above everything else is high-quality writing. That's not to say that manga, visual novel, and light novel adaptations are written poorly; in fact, there are some that have incredible, masterfully-crafted storylines. I have simply personally found that some of the most unforgettable series for me have been novel adaptations. Heya! Thanks for checking by I have compiled the animes that have achieved a certain quality with their story and animation and are loved by the majority, with my own short titles. If you don't have much time and are looking for an anime movie, you can check this list. Everyone knows Studio Ghibli's amazing work, but what about the other studios? Anime series or movies with a fair amount of realistic scenery of modern Japanese cities (starting from the '80s) like Tokyo or any other, with a remarkable romantic or nostalgic feeling, like those depicting cities centre, schools or distant suburbs with typical residential streets during particular moments of the year or of the day, like an autumn or cherry blossom scene, or even a beautiful sunset for example, with Japanese crows and black kites in the sky making singing their beautiful call, or a typical Japanese train passing along a road or a bridge, why not with the Fujiyama in the background. Anything providing a romantic and nostalgic feeling of Japanese cities is very welcome to this Interest Stack. Kansai-ben, Touhoku-ben, Hokkaido-ben, ... Japan is rich with their dialects, accents and expressions. I find certain charms to these and will try to maintain this stack adding animes involving some of these dialects. Flaws... don't go away easily for a lot of people. Whether you're trying to embrace fear, loss, or even trying to fit in when you're different in society really. The cure for so many things is connection and we may think "no one wants to connect with me" but all we need is just to find the right people who appreciate us. Someone who hears our voices, someone who appreciates our existence and accepts us for who we are |
