New Interest Stack
Interest StacksBoy version of the CGDCT genre. Mainly silly comedies and slice of life. What I look for the most in an anime above everything else is high-quality writing. That's not to say that manga, visual novel, and light novel adaptations are written poorly; in fact, there are some that have incredible, masterfully-crafted storylines. I have simply personally found that some of the most unforgettable series for me have been novel adaptations. Turn your brain off fun. This stack will balance between fairly conventional but beautiful art style -for example 3-gatsu no Lion- and unique artstyle -like Yojouhan Shinwa Taikei-, with some maybe not-so-worthy mentions in the middle. The anime stack of mostly all-male casts which is original or adapted from mangas/novels. No romance anime here (yes there are some who fell in love but romance isn't the main plot). I won't include the sequels because the stack is limited to 50 so you gotta find them out by yourself. Shows where some characters are written and portrayed outside what is considered the standard "man" or "woman". This is my first interest stack so I just wanted to have fun with it and recommend some animes I liked under this particular idea ;^) Anime that are especially eye catching visually, often in it's background art and/or general aesthetic. aka anime I find myself taking lots of screenshots of. Only one entry per series. Will be updated as I watch more stuff. Anime that more people should watch. Could be called “gems” depending on your familiarity with anime. Only anime below an 8.00 rating are included because any above would be too obvious. TV Asahi and ABC (Asahi Broadcasting Corporation)'s late night anime programming block which broadcasts on Sundays from 2:00 - 2:30, launched in October 2020. The included anime contain multiple mysterious cases that are only loosely connected, or not connected at all. All these anime's include very shippable characters who mostly have no other person in the anime you could possibly ship them with. This is a marketing ploy because this makes anime/ships very popular as well as being apart of the lgbtqia+ community is not openly embraced by any Asian media. A lot of these anime's has novels, manga chps, side manga, official art, and drama cds that are very suggestive or downright very gay. They have all have very suggestive scenes in the animes as well including op, ed, end credits that are very fruity. Shows that I personally feel are underwatched/underated, and should get more attention! They are not obscure, hidden gems that nobody has watched before, but even so, it'd be nice if more people discovered them :) An assorted stack of anime series with some talented detectives and mind-boggling mysteries to uncover. Highly recommended for fans who love to put on a thinking cap and wrap their head around, trying to unravel secrets alongside the protagonists. You've heard of CGDCT before Some lesser known anime that I really like and think more people should watch! Includes both shows and movies. The title speaks for itself. Work in progress, there are many more I want to watch first before adding :) |
