Action,Friendship,Monsters and more similar tropes.While pokemon is relating to catching monsters and fighting Buddyfight is relating to finding rare "Buddy" monsters and having card fights.In my opinion the story is better than expected and honestly the opening and ending songs are very catchy.

New generation of Digimon and new generation of Pokemon and both change the mix from the originals.

Hakumei no Tsubasa addpermalink

Since these both belong to the same franchise this might be cheating but I strongly feel that if you enjoy this show you owe yourself to watch Hakumei no Tsubasa. It does a wonderful job at fleshing out the characters and world of galar and is a great companion piece to both the series and games. Also This has to be most well animated pokemon has ever been. So much sakuga!
