Kyochuu Rettou Movie

Bad movies about bugs. 

>Stuck on a deserted island, trying to survive from dangers. If you like survival thriller then both should be up your alley. The basic premise is same although one has horror and the other has sci-fi as sub genre. English dub for Kyochuu is highly recommended, it's a comedy gold ( probably the successor of Ghost Stories dub lol) The script writer deserves a prize. 

Similarities - Characters have to survive through trust/limited information - Character deaths are normal/both series are gory/violent - Both series deal with stress under intense conditions (game/deserted island) Differences - Danganronpa is in a game show/world VS island of giant insects is a survival island - Danganronpa characters are kids and young teens VS island of giant insects has high schoolers and older  

Similarities - Both series have large insects that hunt humans - Both series have a group of people that have their aircraft crashland - Both series have a lot of gore/violence Differences - Terraformars MC is male VS island of giant insects MC is female - Terraformars characters have super powers VS island of giant insects don't have super powers - Terraformars insects are high IQ cockroaches that passively hunt humans VS island of giant insects are low IQ, high density insects of all breeds that actively hunt humans - Terraformars characters fight together VS island of giant insects fight separately  

Similarities - Characters in both series have to form groups and survive based on trust and instinct - Both series have dangerous environments where death is an almost guaranteed fate - Both series characters are in the situation based on luck Differences - Battle game in 5s is a survival game VS island of giant insects is a survival island - Battle game MC is male VS island of giant insects is a female - Battle game has special powers granted to participants VS island of giant insects have to rely on their own strengths to survive 

The same setting on an island where there exist beast and monsters of different kind where survival of the fittest is the name of the game. However, on the character side , that's where both differ, cu'z in one movie it involves a group of marooned people who have to strive to survive, while in one anime, it only involves one guy whose job was to save those whom were stupid enough to venture to such dangerous place in order to find riches but failed in the end.  

They are both shows about survival from horrible monsters. It is action packed with lives on the line. Both shows incorporate some of the best CGI that exist. -. ..  

A group of not very bright people get lost on an unkown place and find themselves at the mercy of a supernatural threat. In order to survive, they must cooperate with each other. Betrayals and shocking plot twists ensues. 

Some teenagers find themselves facing a mysterious and deadly enemy. They will try to defeat it, but their questionable decisions will be their downfall. 

Both anime is about the fighting between human and giant insects 

Very similar in my opinion. Campy, gory, sexy. Unexpected character deaths, betrayal & backstabbing at any given moment. Plots that don't make a lick of sense, but extremely entertaining anyway. For a special breed of anime fans.
