Oda Cinnamon Nobunaga

Both anime include main characters who are reincarnated as dogs, both also share the comedy genre.

If you *really* like taking Sengoku Era history to the extreme, you might enjoy Sengoku BASARA. Filled with historical references but flamboyantly contemporary, Sengoku BASARA is an outrageous anime that will have fans laughing and crying in the same episode.
