Both anime include main characters who are reincarnated as dogs, both also share the comedy genre.

"Ya Boy Kongming!" and "Oda Cinnamon Nobunaga" are both anime series that blend historical figures with contemporary settings. In "Ya Boy Kongming!", the ancient Chinese strategist Zhuge Liang reincarnates in modern Tokyo, while "Oda Cinnamon Nobunaga" features the warlord Oda Nobunaga reborn as a dog in present-day Japan. Both series use comedy to explore how these historical characters adapt to their new lives, often highlighting the contrast between their past and the modern world. The anime emphasize humor and anachronism, creating engaging narratives that juxtapose historical wisdom with modern-day challenges.

Chances are that if you enjoyed Oda Cinnamon Nobunaga, you enjoy Sengoku Era history (and humor!). Tono to Issho is full of funny jokes about your favorite warlords, and the small size of the shorts makes for easy watching.

If you *really* like taking Sengoku Era history to the extreme, you might enjoy Sengoku BASARA. Filled with historical references but flamboyantly contemporary, Sengoku BASARA is an outrageous anime that will have fans laughing and crying in the same episode.
