Only some though because there's obviously more than 50.

Shows that have female Vampires as main or supporting characters.

Why female only you ask?
Well maybe this list is for a certain demographic having a certain "interest" in such characters.

Mamoru Oshii is a popular creator and has been involved in several anime in both major and minor roles.

This stack is intended as a guide to specifically just his own creative works, all anime listed here were either directed by Oshii or created by him.

Entries not directed by Oshii have a note explaining his involvement.

A list of anime containing ecchi elements, but are not tagged as ecchi by MAL. While the ecchi content may not be as prevalent or extreme as officially-tagged ecchi titles, there is still enough to be of interest to fans of the ecchi genre. Many of these register at least 1.5/3 stars on AniDB's "tag-weighting" system for ecchi.
Conversely, those who don't care for ecchi may wish to use this stack for cautionary purposes, as these titles may contain things like pantyshots, revealing outfits, incestuous overtones, oversized/jiggling breasts, swimsuit/lingerie moments, extended bath/shower scenes, lewd dream/fantasy sequences, innuendo, or general fanservice in an otherwise serious/"respectable" show.
Only the first seasons of franchises are listed. Some titles may (eventually) have additional details explaining why I've placed them on the list.

This stack is for forgotten or obscure original anime that somehow fit the following criteria:

* Lack of contemporary interest, even if the show had some hype during its time on air.
* As far as possible, a completely finished story within one or two seasons.
* Relatively recent shows are allowed if their talk has already died after a few seasons.
* Have at least some value or interest, and not just be forgotten anime without a source.

The purpose of this stack is to introduce people to perhaps little-known, but interesting for at least one viewing of the original anime. Especially if I personally, the author of the stack, consider them interesting at least at the premise level or some moments. Therefore, I also tried to leave comments next to each anime, expressing my thoughts about the possible pros, cons, and reasons for the loss of attention to the show.

Girls with too much drive and energy and very little brain filter. They may act on impulses, or maybe their understanding of what's "normal" is way off.
Either way there is something gently wrong with them, and we love them for it.

Whether they're dragons, vampires, godesses, aliens or whatever, they're here to stay and make the protagonist's lives take a 180 degree turn.

I will clarify that I will NOT add romance series. That's why I put "roomie" and not boyfriend/girlfriend (that means no Urusei Yatsura or To Love Ru). I would add Childcare series, however.

While most of the sterotypically elitist anime released between 1989 and 2006, there are still modern anime that are considered as "elitist".
