Romantic comedy with high school setting, main character is a smart guy who has to tutor a group of girls. Bokuben is more of a comedy anime, while 5toubun focuses on character development and love.

Both anime are set in high school with studying as one of the main plot points. Also both MC's play the role as a tutor, and are geniuses when it comes to their academics. Both shows have lovable and fun characters, and if you want to watch a light hearted show with romance this may be for you.

The stories are a tad different with how they approach the main characters falling in love but both stories involve a heart and deep-felt relationships between the characters

Both shows have a guy, who is interested in many girls. The stories are very different though, since in Kanojo mo Kanojo the guy gets a bunch of girlfriends but in 5-toubun he is only interested in finding "the one" from the girls. Nevertheless, the girl characters' personalities match.

A very unlikely pair find themselves working together, and slowly getting closer. Multiple love triangles are in play. Protagonists have difficult relationship with their parents. High school drama.

Both main characters have a harem and they both have funny moments- the key difference I think is in gotoubun, uesugi doesnt show feelings for a specific one and pursues her, while in kanojo, kazuya is pursuing a specific one of the girls.

Both have very likeable female characters, with a likeable male lead. The interactions between the male lead and girl/girls are also similarly adorable and satisfying
