Ling Long: Incarnation

Both series deal with religious sects and control over birth and relationships. They forbid many family ties and human feelings. They also both have end of life ceremonies where people are selected to be eliminated. 

Similarities - Both worlds suffer from a virus/mutated organisms that attack humans - Both worlds have a human settlement/home base that avoids invasion of mutated organisms - Both MCs are warriors/hunters that venture into danger zones to complete missions - Both MCs are part of a warrior/hunter squad - Both series has noble families and poor families (inferiors and superiors VS. warrior families/noble families that control human settlements) - Both series are set in a futuristic dystopian barren world Differences - Ling Long is a suspense story designed to be unpredictable - Swallowed Star has a cultivation/martial arts based system 

Similarities - Both worlds are post-apocalyptic dystopian worlds where a virus/mutated organism hunts humans - Both worlds have human safe zones/settlements and slums that border closer to dangers - Both worlds have missions that MC follows in the danger zones - Both worlds use mecha, firearm technology to fight against the mutants Differences - Ling Long is a CGI donghua, AICO is a 2D anime - Ling Long has a more serious, suspenseful tone than AICO's mystery style tone 

Similarities - Humanity in both worlds is in the brink of collapse - Humans have to fight mutated organisms - Resources are scarce in the barren land - Both series have mecha (ling long has smaller modules) - Both series has an MC that is hybrid human/monster - Both series deals with fighting against superiors Differences - Ling Long is set in modern time Franxx is set in far future - Ling Long has specifically bred humans to fight monsters - Ling Long has cult worship religion and strict rules  

Similarities - Both MCs are a secret weapon that end up in human hands - Both MCs are superhuman - Both worlds are post-apocalyptic - Humanities suffer against genetic mutation in both worlds - Humanity is on the brink of extinction - Both worlds are crawling with monster-like organisms Differences - Ling Long is more horror approach VS. Nanocore is more adventure - Ling Long has a better defined story VS. Nanocore is pure action shoot-em-up - Nanocore has 3 factions (sub-humans, mutants, humans) VS. Ling Long has 2 factions (lighthouse, humans on the ground)
