In both movies, the FMC try to express their feelings even though they know the answer. The ending may be bitter but you'll feel content and happy for main charac.

Both are based on lingering regrets of a friend group from the past involving a spirit which helps those in the friend group.

- Both have a protagonist that is a double of one's past or future - The main protagonist tries to help them become one Both are really good movies!

Both movies deal with a relationship between a young human and a ghost. They have a bittersweet melancholic vibe and explore the question what you really want to do in life.

Both show unrequited love in a very nice but sad way

Your Lie in April is a musical romance, similar to Her Blue Sky except that it’s better and less flawed in my opinion. Users looking for a slight change in pace as well as a more fitting tearjerker experience as with the impression given from the tags should watch Your Lie in April.
