Interest StacksAdult Swim (stylized as [adult swim] or abbreviated as [as]) is an American timeshare cable television network bundled with Cartoon Network. The programs featured on Adult Swim are geared toward teens and young adults. Broadcast since 2001, much of the network's general content is known for its risqué, unorthodox and often bizarre presentation, while many of the series' features are developed in stark contrast with traditional American television programs. The block features stylistically varied animated and live-action shows including original programming, syndicated shows and Japanese anime, generally with minimal or no editing for content. Classic 20th-century series and films that most old-school otaku have heard of and many older fans will cite as the reason they became a life-long weeb in the first place. Some have gotten sequels or modern reboots, while others have been relegated to the past and stand alone as fondly-remembered products of their time. If you want to take a journey through anime history, these shows are the place to start! A collection of Popular Battle Anime From the Shounen Demographic. A battle Shounen commonly includes action, adventure, friendship. While a Majority of Shounen Anime could fall into being a battle shounen, shows including (Your Lie in April, A silent Voice, Deathnote, Highschool of the Dead) all fall into the shounen demographic. Everyone has on opinion on the 'best' anime. But which are the anime that—regardless of quality—you simply have to watch before you die? Here are the ones you need to see! If you don’t know what I’m talking about, this is basically a list of all my favorite anime. Anything I give a 9 automatically gets on this list, but only the entry from each franchise I liked the most. Feel free to try and watch every single anime on this list. Any Shounen Anime involving Ghosts, Monsters, Aliens and other paranormal scenarios. The generic shonen protagonist is always overpowered and is also dense for some reason. Anime with yōkai—spirits from the Shinto religion and/or Japanese folklore. Popular types include kitsune (fox spirits), shape-shifting tanuki (raccoon dogs), kappa (river monsters), and oni (ogre-like demons). Ending themes normally don't get the love they deserve, so this a list that consists of a variety of genres, from jazz to rap, but each of them has this strong melodic effect that will surely make you either sing, dance or, at the very least, headbanging you at the rhythm of the song. Story where the protags fight with, as or alongside demons/monsters of some description and are in, teach at or adjacent to school. //List of shows that (to my knowledge) have an italian dub |
