Sometimes, the tropes get tiring, so here's a list of romance anime that put a little twist on it, by adding a bit of occult, with supernatural beings and powers.

These are all romance anime from the shounen demographic. These are all anime I’ve enjoyed one way or another. Since this is the shounen demographic, there’s a lot of fan service and ecchi shows in here. I’m not a huge fan of that but there are some shows I liked regardless. I hope you find something new to watch!

Such shows often have a characteristic "Shinto" paranormal atmosphere and a rich collection of Japanese horror tropes, so I thought this stack would be quite interesting for people who like authentic Japanese horror or paranormal anime.
